Started in year 2015, Saurya Urja Company of Rajasthan Limited is a 50:50 JV Company of Government of Rajasthan and IL&FS Energy Development Company Limited (IEDCL) that specializes in Infrastructure Development for Renewable Energy Projects.
The Company builds Solar Parks with ready-to-use infrastructure in high radiation areas with minimal commissioning time for Solar Power Developers. The features of the park enable faster implementation of projects and lower production costs.
With a mandate to develop 5000 MW of Solar Power Parks in the state of Rajasthan, the Company has already developed a Solar Park of 1000 MW capacity and is developing another Solar Park of 300 MW.
Saurya Urja has proven to be an excellent example of successful PPP Model in the solar sector by assisting timely implementation of large size solar power projects in the Country.
