Bhadla-III Solar Park

1000 MW Solar Park at Bikaner in 2022

After the remarkable success of 1000 MW Bhadla Solar Park, SauryaUrja is all set to build its second 1000 MW Solar Park in Bikaner by December 2022. The Park will be built under the MNRE's 40 GW Solar Park Initiative.

The Central Transmission Utility (CTU) has proposed a 765/400 KV substation at Bikaner-II, near Poogal village, through which the power will be evacuated power from Solar Park.

Scope of Work

Essential Facilities

  • Acquisition of 5000 acres of government land for the establishment of a solar park
  • Development of master plan for 10 plots with 100 MW capacity
  • Obtain Stage 1 and 2 CTU and LTA connectivity for electricity evacuation from the solar park to purchasing entities
  • Construction of a 1250 MVA (10 x 125 MVA Power Transformers) 220/33 KV Pooling Sub-station
  • Construction of a 220 KV double circuit transmission line linking the Solar Park pooling substation to the CTU substation
  • Construction of boundary fencing of the park land as per SUCRL design
  • Construction of Access Roads to each project
  • Operation and maintenance of the Solar park for 25 years post commissioning

Additional Facilities

  • Construction of Patrol road inside the boundary, street lights along the patrol road
  • Construction cable trays and structures
  • Construction of Common building, Training centre and Guest House facilities
  • Provide State-of-art Technology based Security system of the Solar park
  • Establishment of Weather Monitoring system
  • EPC Services for Solar Project Developer (SPD) solar projects
  • Comprehensive O & M for SPD’s solar projects

Development StatusSolar is the future

SauryaUrja has identified 5000 acres of land at village Poogal, District Bikane rand applied to GoR for its allotment
Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation (RREC) has recommended the land for allotment
Feasibility of Power evacuation from PGCIL substation Bikaner II is verified and application for connectivity is under progress
Technical & legal diligence of the project site is under progress

SPDs who are interested in establishing solar projects in the aforementioned solar park may contact SUCRL directly to sign up for the planned capacity. Before winning a bid conducted by SECI/NTPC/IREDA/NHPC or any other government bidding agency, the SPD must sign a binding agreement. After the SPD signs a PPA with its power purchase company, the final capacity allocation will be made in its favour. SPDs may contact the SUCRL official listed below for any clarification.
